Oren Moverman
Oren Moverman made his directorial debut with The Messenger (2009), winner of a Silver Bear at the Berlin Festival for Best Screenplay and two Academy Award nominations: one for Best Screenplay and another for Woody Harrelson as Best Supporting Actor. It was also nominated for Best Screenplay and Best First Feature at the 2010 Independent Spirit Awards, and bagged the Grand Jury and International Critics Awards at the Deauville American Film Festival. His second film, Rampart (2011), competed in the 59th edition of San Sebastian Film Festival.
