She started in the world of audio-visual production by chance when she worked for the Galician regional government. Although she can’t understand them, Dolores Meijomín loves watching films in Basque because of the musical quality that she says the language has; she thinks it’s a really appropriate language for films. She thinks that nowadays it doesn’t matter what language you film in. “Bearing in mind how people here take bilingualism for granted, why not reflect this in films?”
