In the other Argentine film screened in Horizontes Latinos yesterday, Historia del miedo, by Benjamin Naishatat, a heat wave, fear and darkness form the common thread that links various personal stories that finally come together in a disturbing black-out. In the discussion that followed the screening of the film in the Kursaal, the director and his two producers, Benjamin Domenech and Santiago Galelli, stressed the universal nature of the subject they had tackled: fear, and how this was something that all societies had in common.
