Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).

The enormously popular giant screen at the Velodrome will once again be showing a wide variety of films. These will include Zipi y Zape y el Club de la Canica, the latest film by Oskar Santos that uses real characters to recreate the famous Spanish comic figures, which will be screened there tomorrow at 18:30.
As usual there will be morning sessions with the film El corazón del roble especially for schoolchildren, and of course, the closing session with the broadcast of the Closing Gala and the screening of the film closing the Official Section, The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, as well as the one closing the Pearls section 9 mois ferme by Albert Dupontel.
On Monday the 23rd the director Alex de la Iglesia, and the actress Carmen Maura, who will be receiving a Donostia Award this year, will be attending a special screening of Las brujas de Zugarramurdi. along with several members of the cast, and finally Savage Cinema, the section of the Festival devoted to adventure and action sports films, will be holding Big Friday on the 27th on the giant screen. This will feature the world premiere of Cerro Torre - A Snowball’s Chance in Hell and Into the mind.
