Born in Bergara 1969. Studied at the Film and Video School in Andoain and continued his training in Venezuela, where he started working as a technician in the grips and electricals department, staying there for several feature films while he completed his screenplay studies.
In 1997 he wrote and directed his first short film, Txotx, with Telmo Esnal before turning his skills to screenwriting and directing. He founded the production company Txintxua Films in 2008.
