An original project from director Raúl Ruiz - winner of the Silver Shell for Best Director in 2010 for Mistérios de Lisboa (Mysteries of Lisbon) who died last year - which has been turned into a TV mini-series by the filmmaker Valeria Sarmiento. A reconstruction of Napoleon's attempts to invade Portugal with a powerful army constrained to measure its strength against the Anglo-Portuguese forces commanded by General Wellington.
