Albertina, a grey woman, is speaking on the phone to Sergio, her boyfriend, and starts moving to meet him a few hours before the end-of-millennium celebrations. On reaching her destination, a rundown spa, things get complicated.
As the day passes in festive mode, decadent but colourful, things start to pale, leading Albertina to lend a meaning to the journey that it didn't seem to have itself.
