La Hija del Mar is a documentary directed by Josu Martínez about Haize, the daughter of a member of ETA who was murdered by GAL at Xmas 1983, and her attempt to discover who her father was through interviews with people who knew him. The director says that right from the start I saw that this is Haize’s journey and that she is the focus of the film and although at the end she says that she still doesn’t know her father; she does know who he was and loves him as a person and not just as a ghost.”
