The Film festival and the Tabakalera International Contemporary Culture Centre have reached an agreement to organise together the International Film School Meeting, which is held each year during the Festival. Now in its seventh consecutive year it will take place on the 25th and 26th of September and the number of participants has risen steeply this year as it has been opened to film schools from all over the world, each one of which can present up to three shorts. Some prestigious international schools have been invited to share their experiences with the students enrolled for this event and a jury chaired by the Israeli filmmaker Amos Gitai will choose the winning work which will be awarded a prize consisting of post-producion services worth 6,000¤ for the winning director.
