Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Maureen, a young Irish woman from Donegal, moves to Northern Ireland and settles down in Bogside, a Catholic neighbourhood in Derry. Her aim is toguarantee a future for her son and to meet Barry, her husband-to-be. However, Maureen finds that life in derry is not as attractive as she had expected. It's the 60's. the beginning of the troubles in Northern Ireland, and Bogside is non other than the setting for one of the worst incidents. The friendship of two "bogwomen", as the women from Bogside are called, makes Maureen's life a little brighter.
