Sasha, a youn English woman, is on holidays with her 10-month old daugther on the Ile d'Yeu (France). Her husband is working in Paris, so the two women are alone at the beach house. The baby's needs shape each 24-hours, and the days are spent peacefully between naps, bottles and the beach. One evening Tatiana, a strange, sullen backpacker arrives and asks if she can set up camp in Sasha's yard. Sasha agrees and later invites the young woman in to dinner, thus breaking the solitude and monotony of her vacation. Little by little, Tatiana makes her strange presence felt as she gets closer to the baby and her mother.
