Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
In the middle of the last century, Galicia, already impoverished, has the situation aggravated by the Carlist War. A pilgrim is picked up by Adaga, a girl sheperd, in a stable. Some mystic rites convince the teenager that she is in the presence of a divine being. The country folk thereabouts see him as diabolic and put him to death. Adega considers them guilty of having killed an emissary from God and announces that she is going to have his child. They believe her and come to see her as "La Santiña". The Carlists use Adega to further their cause, but superstition and the movements of the war quickly convert her into an enemy. She's declared a heretic and concemned to "The Night of the Demons".
