At the end of the sixties the student's movement breaks up. Some of them reject the idea of rejoining the bourgeois society and choose the road of violence.
It all begins with a fire in a department store. Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin operate in Francfort. On the 14th of May 1970 the Baader-Meinhof group is formed, a group that later on comes to be known as "Fraction of the Red Army". They operate as guerrilla fighters. After two years of bank robberies, terrorist attacks and fights with the Police, they are arrested. The film that shows the inadecuacy of politics and justice to recognize situacions that generate violence.
