Synopsis
Buñuel adapts Emily Brontë's Wunthering Heights developing mainly the last part of the novel: Alexander returns to the house where he grew up as a child. His step sister, Catherine, with whom he shared a passionate love, has married Edward only for the sake of having a child. Yet, she does not hide her feelings for Alexandre.
