Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
The action, based on the well-known Gothic novel by Henry James, takes place aroun 1900 in the Basque Country. Roberto, a young seminarist, leaves the seminary for unknown reasons and goes to work as the private tutor of the grand-children of the lord of the local area. Roberto must then face a mysterious phenomenon: he insists he has seen ghostly images. The strangeness of his behaviour perturbs the souls of the children to such an extent that one winds up asking one's self: Who really sees the images? Roberto, the children,...?
