The cruelest and most refined method that the human mind has invented to repress its political enemy is that of "disappearance." Everything is absence is described through the story of five women with "disappeared" relatives, the deep drama and pain that means not knowing if loved ones are alive or dead, or what happened to them through the hours, days, the years of uncertainty.
