An inspector of the Superior Police Corps, known as "El Sultán", returns to his active work after two years of convalescence in a clinic due to an injury received. Deputy Commissioner Gonzálvez recommends an apparently simple case. But when the investigation begins, he finds himself disoriented, he does not have his usual confidants, and he is considered by all to be a finished man. The case is getting more complicated; corpses appear that are not the ones being sought. The Ministry of the Interior is accused by the press of trying not to clarify the case. Two women enter the scene. And when the case has several corpses, Crisanto Perales takes action. An unexpected but logical pirouette ends the adventure.
