In a historical situation, 1944, a man and a woman are living together, shut up in a house. The only bond between them is the necessity to remain hidden. Kata comes from a bourgeois milieu and Janos' life has led him to be distrustful and dommed to loneliness. The days they are living are full of fear and distrust. The love arising between them is no easy solution. At the moment of the Liberation they haven't yet prepared their destiny, but they have found trust through suffering.
