Synopsis
Jack Torrance, a failed writer, agrees to work as the manager of a completely isolated hotel, in Denver, while the establishment is closed to the public. Reincarnation phenomena, murders, as well as Torrance's progressive loss of balance, build up as complicated a maze as the garden around the hotel.
