HELVIO SOTO
Born in 1930 in Santiago de Chile. In 1964 he directed I had a comrade, his first feature film, and some documentary films, as well as advertising films. Founder of his own picture house in 1969, co-produces three years later State of siege, by Costa Gavras. He has directed Mundo mágico, Érase un niño, Un guerrillero y un caballo, Voto más fusil and Llueve sobre Santiago, among other films.
