The carpenter Abe Osheroff narrates his life in the United States as the son of a Jewish emigrant during the years of the depression and his experiences in Spain during the Civil War and later with the student riots of 1968. He analyzes the North American bases and the Palomares incident and he goes through the Spanish stages he met in his youth.
