Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
The action takes place during a summer and on the shore of a lake. Medvedenko, a village teacher, falls in love with Macha, who does not belong to him. Both go to a platform, in which Constantine, Sorine's nephew, prepares a show. This is celebrated in front of the mother of Mdvedenko, her lover, the doctor and the old Pauline. The only admitted spectator is Sorine, to whom the young intellectual confesses the anguish of feeling ignored, in the shadow of his mother. He also expresses his contempt for conventional theater.
