At a time when the audiovisual industry is able to create and distribute more content than ever before, the great challenge is attracting and sustaining audience attention. The proliferation of platforms, the influence of social media, and recommendation algorithms have transformed the way we discover and consume content.
In a context shaped by audiovisual consumption, this conversation invites us to reflect on how audiences discover and access audiovisual works, what strategies the industry is developing to engage new audiences, and how traditional distribution models coexist with new phenomena emerging from digitalisation.

She holds a PhD, awarded cum laude, in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is also a university lecturer, contributor to several books on the audiovisual industry, and author of ¿Qué es eso del formato de TV?
Senior Marketing Manager at The Searchers, a leading Benelux film distributor, where she has worked since 2019. She develops theatrical marketing campaigns for a diverse range of films, from Jason Statham’s Mutiny to critically acclaimed titles such as The Drama and The Invite, creating campaigns that connect films with their audiences. She has also worked on major SVOD releases, including Greenland.
As Head of the TV & Film vertical at YouTube Spain, she advises broadcasters, production companies, and media organizations on audience development and the optimization of their content and distribution strategies on the platform. She has more than 17 years of experience at Google and in strategic consulting for the technology sector.
