Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Since 2014, the Industry Department of the San Sebastian Festival has been organizing Focus on, the initiative under which a group of professionals comes to the Festival from a region or territory to know it first-hand, expand their contact network and participate in the industry activities.
In 2026, thanks to the collaboration with SEYAP (Film Producers' Association of Turkey), ten Turkish audiovisual professionals will have the possibility to expand their contact network and to increase their co-production opportunities with other European and Latin American countries.
The delegation includes both emerging and experienced producers, whose feature film and documentary projects are at various stages of production: in development, in financing and in post-production.

This year the Festival has selected two Turkish productions: Artakalan / What Remains by Yeşim Ustaoğlu, is competing in the Official Selection, and Kirpilerin Savaşı / The Battle of Hedgehogs by Tayfur Aidin, selected in WIP Europa in post-production stage.
Focus on is an initiative launched in 2014 with the Focus on Canada, which was featured again in 2015, due to its success. It continued with Focus on Nordic Glocal in 2016, featuring Denmark, Iceland and Norway; the Baltic countries in 2018; Poland in 2019; Georgia in 2021; Serbia in 2022; Brazil in 2023; and, in 2025, the Philippines, with the support of Quezon City Film Commission (QCFC).
