Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in true crime. Whether in fiction or documentaries, streaming content distributors see these events as a goldmine of entertainment due to the fascination they generate.
Isabel Vázquez is a screenwriter (Bosé, SkyShowtime, Telecinco) and a presenter of programmes, galas, and events. She collaborates with the program Ovejas Eléctricas (TVE), is a member of the discussion panel, La Cultureta (Onda Cero), writes columns for Fotogramas, and teaches Screenwriting at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
Creator and writer of El cuerpo en llamas and Intimidad, both for Netflix. Having obtained her screenwriting diploma at the ECAM, her career began with Herederos (TVE) and continued with titles including Crematorio, Isabel and Carlos Rey Emperador. With Intimidad she won the Academia de la Television's Best Screenplay Award.
Susana Herreras is the Production Manager at Movistar+ Original Series and the Executive Producer of projects such as Mira lo que has hecho, Hierro, Rapa, El inmortal, El otro lado, and La Mesías. She previously worked at Sogecine and Canal+ as Head of the Development Department, contributing to feature films such as The Sea Inside and Mortadelo & Filemon: The Big Adventure. She also produced the first series for the pay-TV operator: Qué fue de Jorge Sanz and Crematorio.
He has written, co-produced, and directed the films Mapa (2012), Apuntes para una película de atracos (2018), and Arquitectura emocional 1959 (2022), as well as the investigative documentary series El caso Asunta (2017), El caso Alcásser (2019), 800 metros (2022), and El Circo de los Muchachos (2024).
