The San Sebastian Festival selection committee will select up to six European productions from among all those submitted, which must have a run-time of more than 60 minutes and be produced in the majority by European production companies. The deadline for submission is July 3.
WIP Europa will be held on 23, 24 and 25 September, coinciding with WIP Latam and the Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum.
Many of the filmmakers who have recently participated in WIP Latam, such as María Trénor, Michael Fetter Nathansky, Arantza Santesteban or Ion Borș have premiered their works at the San Sebastian Festival and at other festivals of the international circuit.
