Eight films presented at the San Sebastian Festival were awarded in 21 categories at the 38th edition of the Goya Awards, granted by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences of Spain.

Aunque es de noche / Even Though It's Night, presented in Zabaltegi-Tabakalera was recognized with the Goya for Best Fiction Short Film.
Finally,Anatomie d'une chute / Anatomy of a Fall, which was part of Perlak after winning the Palme d'Or at Cannes, received the Goya for Best European film.
Actress Sigourney Weaver, Donostia Award in 2016, received the International Goya.
