American actress and producer Jessica Chastain and French actress and director Sandrine Bonnaire will be present at the 71st San Sebastian Festival. Their names join other confirmed festival attendees such as Juliette Binoche, Gabriel Byrne, François Cluzet, Emmanuelle Devos, Griffin Dunne, Aidan Gillen, Miles Heizer, Mads Mikkelsen and Leonardo Sbaraglia.
Jessica Chastain, winner of the Academy Award and the Silver Shell for her role in the film The Eyes of Tammy Faye (Official Selection, 2021), will present Memory, selected for Perlak, along with the director Michel Franco, on Wednesday 27.
Sandrine Bonnaire, who has worked with filmmakers such as Agnès Varda, André Téchiné, Claude Sautet, Claude Chabrol and Audrey Diwan, will come to San Sebastian to present the closing film, Dance First, at the Kursaal on September 30. She will be accompanied by director James Marsh and actors Gabriel Byrne, Aidan Guillen, Fionn O’Shea and Leonie Lojkine.
