Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
In 2019 Lisa Muskat (New Hampshire, USA) produced Pacificado (Pacified), by Paxton Winters, winner of the Golden Shell for Best Film, the Silver Shell for Best Actor and the Jury Prize for Best Cinematography at the San Sebastian Festival.
Muskat has produced films by directors such as David Gordon Green, Mei-Juin Chen, Jeff Nichols, Ramin Bahrani, Arielle Javitch, Craig Zobel, Ferdinando Cito Filomarino, Amman Abbasi and Luca Guadagnino.
Based in Paris and New York, among her current projects, she is producing the debut of Sundance Lab fellow Caledonia Curry, aka Swoon, an animated and live action feature film. Muskat is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. Alongside her feature film career, she was an executive producer on commercials for over ten years, including spots for the Superbowl and Cannes Lion winning ads.
Muskat is the recipient of the Sundance Producer Award and was cited as “Producer to Watch” by both Variety and Deadline. Prior to producing, Muskat was a professor at UNC’s North Carolina School of the Arts and holds a masters from UCLA School of Film and TV.
