Belgian filmmaker Laura Wandel, who participated in Nest in 2007 with the short film Murs, returned to the San Sebastian Festival to give a master class at its 69th edition. In addition, on 22 September 2021, Wandel also presented her first feature film, Un monde / Playground, at Zabaltegi-Tabakalera, following its premiere at Un Certain Regard of the Cannes Festival, where it won the Fipresci Award.
