Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Olmo Figueredo (Seville, Spain. 1980) is a founding partner of La Claqueta PC and La Cruda Realidad, both production companies based in Seville. He studied Audiovisual Communication at Seville University and specialised in audiovisual company production and management through the European post-graduate programmes MEGA and EAVE. Named “Producer on the Move” by the European Film Promotion and “New Producer to Watch” by MIP-TV, he is a member of the European and Spanish Film Academy. As a producer, he has more than 40 titles, between feature films, short films and series almost always developed as national or international co-productions. His projects have been nominated and won accolades at the Goya Awards: La trinchera infinita (Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño, Jose Mari Goenaga, 2019), Silver Shell for Best Director, Jury Prize for Best Screenplay and Irizar Award at the San Sebastian Festival; at the Forqué Awards: Nacido en Gaza (Hernán Zin, 2014); and at the Platino Awards: Nacido en Siria (Hernán Zin, 2016). This year he has released El inconveniente, by Bernabé Rico at the Malaga Festival, while at this edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival he will present El verano que vivimos, by Carlos Sedes and the documentary series representing his directorial debut, El Estado contra Pablo Ibar, shot over 6 years between Spain and the USA.
