The Israeli director, who won the Nest Film Students award in 2014, was back here to guide the students through a master class after the screening of his feature debut Africa which is being shown in the New Directors section. The questions focused on the technical and human aspects of the film as well as more practical matters. He explained how the path he has followed is closely linked to San Sebastián. With the award money he made a short in France that was shown at Cannes. He met a programmer from Toronto while he was there and he sent them a link. “It’s important to have good relations with programmers; they all know each other and they can help you.”
