Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Born in San Sebastian in 1975, today living in Ondarroa, Angel studied at the Andoain Film School. Having completed his training in multimedia and interactive media, he took his first professional steps in advertising. After eight years of non-stop work, he moved on to video post-production, specialising in motion graphics and developing projects for advertising, television and cinema.
In 2010, his short film Ondar Ahoak was selected for the Kimuak catalogue and won a number of awards, including Best Experimental Short Film at the San Diego Festival. With a multidisciplinary profile, he alternates his work as a post-producer with that of television scriptwriter, directing and producing short films, while also contributing to different media.
He currently pens an audiovisual column in the newspaper Berria, writes the ETB network programme ZirtZart, and is busy developing the short film Death Laughs with Koldo Almandoz.
