Ttaup, Ttaup! The beating of the Oars was screened yesterday as part of the Zinemira-Basque Film Showcase. The film is about the demanding physical preparations of a rowing club from Zumaia whose members were actually present at the screening. The director of the film, Eneko Dorronsoro is also from Zumaia and in two weeks time it will be shown at a special screening in the village itself, where there is a long-standing rowing tradition.
