The Uruguayan actor Daniel Hendler who won the Silver Bear at Berlin for his performance in Daniel Burman’s El abrazo partido is here in San Sebastián to present his first film as a director, Norberto apenas tarde. He confessed that he wasn’t quite clear how the film was going to turn out when he started shooting and that it all gradually came together as time went by: “The best thing about is that in the end the result looks a lot like what I had imagined, but while we were making it, I discovered a new film.”
