Set in 1987, Precious is the story of Claireece ?Precious? Jones, a 16-year old girl born and raised in a world you would wish on nobody. She?s pregnant for the second time with her absent father?s child; at home she?s tyrannically ruled by a bitter mother who keeps her imprisoned both emotionally and physically.
