Synopsis
France still has a number of single-class schools dotted over its geography where all of the children from a same village are taught from nursery to the end of primary school by a single male or female teacher of extraordinary dedication. This film was made in one of these schools in deepest Auvergne, where schoolmaster Georges López guides the pupils towards adolescence, acting as mediator in their arguments and listening to their problems.
