Synopsis
Elmer Gantry, a womanizer, chancer and travelling salesman, joins the entourage of Sharon Falconer, an evangelist of sincere faith. Together they rise to fame as they travel from town to town. Sister Falconer falls in love with Gantry, but a preacher's daughter turned prostitute after Elmer loved and left her tricks him into her room and sends the pictures to Sharon.
