Synopsis
Jane Hurley announces that she and Ralph Halloran, who comes from a better social background than her own, are to marry the following week. All Jane and Ralph want is a small wedding with close family. But things get out of hand and they end up with plans for an enormous affair involving hundreds of guests. The problem is that for the last 12 years, Tom, Jane's father, has been saving to buy his own cab and license and all of the money is about to be pumped into a wedding that neither he, Jane nor Ralph really want.
