Synopsis
Sam, an art thief, steals a picture from an Italian church, intending to have a copy made and cheat his partners while he sells the original and doubles his takings. He chooses the beautiful and innocent Anna as the artist to paint the copy. Sam marries the girl and they head to Sicily for their honeymoon. Anna is bitterly disappointed when she discovers Sam?s trickery. Hotly pursued by the police and his sidekicks, Sam is finally allowed to go free when he repents and returns the painting.
