El Rey de San Gregorio / The King of San Gregorio
Two teenagers are assaulted in a deserted street by a man, knife in hand. One escapes and the other is killed by the aggressor. Detective Carella takes care of the case. He is a very competent policeman, but he has a twelve-year-old daughter, whom he unconsciously identifies with the murdered girl. The search for the criminal becomes an obsession.
