Synopsis
Over several years, while trying to obtain funding for his movie Barfly, Barbet Schroeder made video recordings of his meetings with Charles Bukowski, during which the writer employs his unmistakable style to read out poems and monologues on his life, his work, his relationships with women and his passion for alcohol. The result is an all-encompassing portrait of the man who wrote Factotum.
