In the first full-length adventure that Wallace & Gromit have gone on, its heroes are running a pest-control business and face a difficult mission: defending their neighbourhood from the voracious rabbits that are ravaging it, led by a monstrous beast. An animated film using Plasticine 98 percent of the time, and digital effects in only 2 percent, a team of 260 people and four and a half years of work, this is the first full-length film featuring the characters jointly directed by Steve Box and Nick Park, who already visited the Festival in 1996 with the Wallace & Gromit short, A Close Shave, and who once again show the same affection for their characters and the same high standards they set themselves as in their Oscar-winning shorts and in Chicken Run (Nick Park and Peter Lord, 2000).
