Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Born in Pamplona in July 1974. She graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarre, following her post-graduate studies in Cinema at the NYU (New York University). On her return, she moved to Gipuzkoa, and in 1996 started working in the field of film production, particularly producing the shorts directed by Koldo Almandoz: Razielen Itzulera (1997), A dar ba kar (1999), Belarra (2002), Amuak (2004).
In addition to being one of the main promoters of the movement to revamp short film in the Basque Country, she has worked for several Spanish film production companies (Esicma, Cine Company, Asegarce, Aite-Ariane Films) and during five years for Sogecine, forming part of the production team on Mortadelo y Filemón, by Javier Fesser, and on two of Alejandro Amenábar’s movies, Los otros and Mar adentro.
She currently lives in Gipuzkoa and is working on several projects with different filmmakers.
