Synopsis
Johnny Norton is a baseball player who can only sing when he has a cold. While his old team is in spring training in Havana, Johnny gets a job singing at a club. He is accepted back in his old team, the Blue Sox, that is going through financial difficulties and switches from the stage to the stadium, and from the arms of Patsy Clark, daughter of the owner of the team, to the arms of Gloria, a singer at the club and his true love. The nightclub opening is a great success and because of the publicity gained by Johnny the team gets financial backers.
