Synopsis
In 1917, Our Lady appears to Lucía and her cousins, Francisco and Jacinta, three little shepherds from the small Portuguese village of Fatima. Although they promise to keep the secret, Jacinta and Franciso let it out and the whole village eventually hears the story. Lucía is accused of telling lies. Our Lady reappears to Lucía and tells her a miracle will take place on the 13th October which everyone will be able to see. Portugal is undergoing a revolutionary atmosphere and the local judge tries to end what he considers is a farse, but the news spreads over the world. On the 13th October, and in spite of the Portuguese Government's attempts to stop it, a multitude gathers in Fátima and the miracle takes place.
