Synopsis
In February 1943, three hundred Spanish soldiers from the Blue Division are taken prisoners near Leningrad. They are put into a concentration camp with a commanding officer who orders the Spanish officers to collaborate, but, led by Captain Adrados, the men refuse. The rebels are punished, while those who do as they are told are given better living conditions. Some prisoners of other nationalities give way under pressure, but the Spaniards resist.
