Featuring never-before-seen archive footage, this documentary from the Oscar-winning Martin Scorsese traces George's life from his birth in 1943 until his untimely death in 2001. On the way, his crazy years as one of The Beatles, the ups and downs of his solo career, and all sprinkled with the joys and sorrows of his private life. Harrison travelled all over, he knew the whole world and achieved heights of fame most of us can only dream about. Apart from its epic aspect, the documentary is deeply personal. Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison join others to talk openly about George and the experiences they shared with him.
