Juan lives in clandestinity. Just like his mum, his dad and his adored Uncle Beto, outside his home he has another name. At school, Juan is known as Ernesto. And he meets Maria, who only has one name. Based on true facts, set in the Argentina of 1979, this film is “one about love”.

Screenwriter and director of short films to have won international prizes and of the documentary feature Nietos, on the children of 'the disappeared' whose identities were re-established by the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo (special Zabaltegi screening in 2004). Producer of educational television programmes. Infancia Clandestina, his first feature film, is based on true events in his life.
