The Festival uses the lockers to distribute all of the promotional material provided by producers and other interesting information to accredited press members.
Keys are available on showing your pass, but please don’t forget to give them back at the end of the Festival.
Official web space containing promotional material provided by producers (pressbooks, images, audio and video clips) and gala abstracts.
You can access it with your user key.
Temporary loan to television crews and online media of available excerpts of programmed films. The journalists themselves are responsible for copying these.
Abstracts of the opening, closing, Basque Film and Donostia Award galas, plus the Festival logo are also available.

English and French-speaking interpreters will be provided for interviews arranged by the Festival on request.

Located in the Kursaal Centre locker area and in the Hall of Maria Cristina Hotel beside the hostess desk, here you will find full up-dated information on the daily programme, arrival of film crews, press conferences, photocalls, Zabaltegi Get-togethers, Horizontes Breakfasts and last-minute notifications.
Alerts informing you on the day’s arrivals, programme changes and last-minute notifications.

GENERAL ACTIVITIES
All feature films programmed in the Official Selection, New Directors, Zabaltegi and Horizontes Latinos are exclusively screened for the press and accredited guests. A list of these screenings is provided with the Festival documentation. They are confirmed daily on the official Festival website, in your lockers, on the notice boards and in Zinemaldia.
Kursaal Centre. Rooms 2 and 3
Programmed press conferences can be found in the “Press” section of our official website.
These press conferences usually take place after the morning screenings of Official Selection films in the Kursaal 1 and are preceded by a photocall.
Press conferences are also organised for other films and the retrospectives. These are announced in the usual manner.
We offer a simultaneous interpretation service. Headphones are available at the entrance to the Press Conference Room in exchange for your pass.
The audio recordings of press conferences are digitized and made available to the press on the official website, where you can also watch them in delayed transmission mode.
Press Club. Kursaal Centre, Room 1. Daily, at 11:00
The Horizontes Breakfasts are attended by Horizontes Latinos filmmakers attending the Festival. These are announced daily in the usual manner.
Victoria Eugenia Theatre Club. Daily, at 14:00.
The New Directors and Zabaltegi Get-togethers are attended by filmmakers participating in the section attending the Festival. These are announced daily in the usual manner.
Rooms 2 and 3 are equipped for live coverage of the Closing Gala by accredited press. At the end of the Gala, the winners will make their way to this room to be interviewed.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
Following the morning screenings of films in the Official Selection, and prior to the press conference, a photocall will take place on the Kursaal Terraces. Prompt notification will be given of any changes in location.
There will also be photocalls before all other press conferences.
The Festival assigns spaces to photographers at the entrance to the Kursaal 1, Victoria Eugenia Theatre and María Cristina Hotel.
Access to the Kursaal 1 for the Opening, Closing and Donostia Award galas is restricted to photographers, who must respect the following instructions:
- Remain seated, without standing up, until the end of the gala
- Do not use flashes during the ceremony
- Leave the hall at the end of the ceremony
- It is forbidden to film images in any format for delayed transmission
Photographers may enter the Velodrome to take pictures of film presentations and must leave the venue immediately these presentations are over.
